A Win, A Sufferfest and A Disaster.
Yea, the song "David Bowie in Space" is stuck in my head... no aparent reason, save for I find it entertaining!
It has been a bit of a hectic week - wedding bells will be ringing this Sunday for my lovely Auntie Carol! She and her longtime partner, Tom, are tying the knot in a ceremony that couldn't be more appropriate! Beachy, low-key and intimate.
I've taken on the task of wedding prep - I'm also the wedding baker - crossing my fingers this rain stops so I can bake in the AM!
They Doxy is still wreaking havoc on my system - throwing up when I take it in the AM and PM - but I am feeling better. My workouts are getting back to normal and after last night's massage with the one and only Olivia Hylan, I'm feeling better than ever!
A few hours after the wedding, Sam and I fly down to Kona, Hawaii. I couldn't be more excited for this work/training camp - it eases the pain of not racing!
Cozumel is nearing and a bunch of other fun races are coming up. Thank goodness for late-season races!!
Ok, that's all for now - I promise to blog every day next week!
