A Win, A Sufferfest and A Disaster.
Ok, so I haven't been the best about blogging recently. My bad. I'm still learning the ropes of the new site and when I get stuck trying to load pictures, I think of how I'd rather be outside... then I go outside and forget to blog. Ooops.
It was a great Memorial Day weekend... I took Birthday Boy Samuel up to New Hampshire to visit his family and then we went to Boston for a Red Sox game on his actual Bday. The game was great, the city lively and it was perfect all around. The afternoon rainstorm was less perfect, but I'll let that slide.
Sunday it was brunch with dear friends, then home for parties, parties, parties!! Monday was the official Bday party for Sam at the Tarrywile and I managed to get in some good training before the bbq and cake-making began.
Maybe it was the partying or maybe it was all those little ticks that I pulled off my legs, but I'm feeling a bit doggy. Productive work-wise, but doggy in my workouts and in general. The Doc ran some tests today and my B12 and Iron levels are waaaay low. Bummer. Looks like I've picked up Lyme Disease again, but I'll know for sure tomorrow or Friday. Yucko.
Love trail running. Hate ticks. Stay out of the woods? Nope!
Tonight I'm racing my bike with the boys - I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do so!
